As the largest of the Orlando Venues, the Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium has always been a great asset to the citizens of Orlando. Not only does it seat over 70,000 patrons, but it also attracts the national spotlight due to the caliber of bowl games and legendary performers who have played there.
Originally constructed in 1936 and known as Orlando Stadium at the time, the Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium has seen a handful of renovations that increased its original capacity from 10,000 to over 70,000.

Continual updates to the venue have allowed it to stay relevant in the constantly changing world of live sports and entertainment, and because of this, the venue has hosted everything from World Cup soccer games to the Rolling Stones.

Previously, the Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium has hosted the USFL’s Orlando Renegades and the WFL’s Orlando Thunder. The Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium currently serves as home to the Annual Florida Classic, the Capital One Bowl, the Champs Sports Bowl and the All American Football League. WrestleMania 24 will debut at the Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium in March 2008; the first WrestleMania to be held in Florida!consistently offered to patrons. There’s something for everyone at the arena!
